Refund Policy
Last Updated: March 2025
We're committed to your learning experience. If something doesn't work out, we want to make things right. Here's everything you need to know about our refund process.
Understanding Your Refund Rights
Look, education is an investment, and we get that you need to feel confident about it. Our approach to refunds reflects the reality that financial education takes time to understand and apply. Not every program fits every person, and that's okay.
Australian Consumer Law gives you certain rights that we absolutely respect. On top of that, we've built our own policies to be fair and straightforward. If you've enrolled and realized it's not what you expected, there are ways to address that.
Early Access Period
Within 14 days of purchase and before accessing more than 20% of course materials, you can request a full refund. This gives you time to explore whether the content matches your needs.
Technical Issues
If platform problems prevent you from accessing content and we can't fix them within 5 business days, you're eligible for a full refund regardless of how long you've been enrolled.
Course Cancellation
If we cancel or significantly change a course you've paid for, you'll receive a complete refund. We'll notify you immediately if this happens.
How to Request a Refund
We've kept this simple because nobody wants to jump through hoops. Here's the actual process, step by step.
Send Your Request
Email info@veralithoxa.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line. Include your name, course name, purchase date, and a brief explanation of why you're requesting a refund. We read every request personally.
We Review Within 48 Hours
Someone from our team will look at your request within two business days. We'll check your account details and course access history. If we need more information, we'll reach out directly.
Decision and Processing
Once approved, we process refunds immediately. The money typically appears in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank. We'll send you an email confirmation with the processing date.
Different Situations, Different Approaches
Not everything fits into neat categories. Here's how we handle various scenarios that come up.
Partial Refunds
- If you've completed 20-50% of a course, you may qualify for a partial refund of 50% of the original fee
- Beyond 50% completion, refunds typically aren't available unless there's a documented technical or content issue
- Each case gets reviewed individually because circumstances vary
Bundle Purchases
- Course bundles are treated as single purchases for refund purposes
- If you've accessed any course in the bundle, the 14-day window applies to all courses
- We can sometimes split bundles in special circumstances, just ask
Monthly Subscriptions
- You can cancel your subscription anytime, effective at the end of your current billing period
- Refunds for the current month are available within the first 7 days of a new billing cycle
- No refunds for previous months, but you keep access until your paid period ends
Payment Methods and Processing Times
How long it takes to see your money back depends on how you paid originally. We process everything on our end immediately, but financial institutions have their own timelines.
Credit and Debit Cards
- Refunds appear within 5-10 business days after we process them
- They go back to the original card used for purchase
- If your card has expired, contact your bank directly
PayPal and Digital Wallets
- Usually processed within 3-5 business days
- Returns to your PayPal balance or linked funding source
- Check your PayPal account activity for confirmation
Bank Transfers
- We'll need your current bank details to process the refund
- Transfers typically complete within 3-7 business days
- You'll receive an email with the transaction reference number
When Refunds Don't Apply
Being upfront about this: there are situations where we can't offer refunds. It's not about being difficult, it's about protecting the integrity of our educational content and being fair to everyone.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds aren't available if you've downloaded course materials, violated our terms of service, completed more than 50% of content, or if more than 30 days have passed since purchase. We also can't refund purchases made during special promotional periods after the standard refund window closes.
If you've shared your account access with others or we've detected unusual activity that suggests content distribution, that voids refund eligibility. This protects the course creators and keeps costs reasonable for everyone else.
Special Circumstances
Life happens. Sometimes things come up that don't fit into standard categories. Medical emergencies, family situations, unexpected financial hardship — we're human and we get it.
If you're dealing with something unusual, reach out anyway. We look at these situations individually. We might not always be able to offer a full refund, but we can often find alternatives like extended access, course transfers, or partial credits toward future programs.
The key is communication. Tell us what's going on. We've worked with people through all kinds of situations over the years, and we'd rather find a solution than stick rigidly to rules when it doesn't make sense.
Questions About Your Specific Situation?
Every situation is a bit different. If you're not sure whether your circumstances qualify for a refund, or if you need to discuss options, just get in touch. We respond to every inquiry personally.
